Thought I'd pop back in to send you off to '09 properly and do the requisite navel-gazing that this time of year inspires.
I can safely say these 12 months have been some of the most:

surprising
upsetting
lovely
soul-crushing
despair-drenched
satisfying
unbelievable
terrifying
seeringly painful
unpredictable
blessed
beautiful
lucky
anxious
...that I've had in a while.
